This “Silver Linings” Freeform Crochet Notebook was inspired by Mother Nature this past weekend.
My daughter and I ventured out to the Farmer’s Market early on Saturday morning to sell her handmade pottery. Unfortunately, we were met by thunder, lightening, pouring rain, and a leaky tent!
We knew the weather wasn’t going to be great, so from the moment we set up we decided “As long as we sell something, we’ll be happy!” The downpours and lightening strikes started shortly after we set up, so we decided to pack up about half way through the scheduled time. As we were putting the last box in the car, a young boy came back over to the table to buy a mug he had been eyeing up…SUCCESS!!!
We were soaking wet, tired from getting up early, and our hair that was just blown out at the salon the night before was now a frizzy mess. But the stormy day still had its silver linings: we spent a few good hours together, Maiya met a few other vendors and got some tips and contacts from them, and I was able to pick up farm fresh eggs and peppers 🙂
Freeform Crochet Notebook
This notebook or journal or datebook cover has nice fluffy clouds (all with silver linings), rain drops, the sun peeking out, and a little rainbow, too. It is embellished with buttons and bling.
I hope that sharing these projects with you may help inspire you to try some of your own. If you’d like to take a look at Day 3 “Fish Tales”, see it HERE.
Love the idea of the journals/notebooks, but you’re totally intimidated by creating one of your own? Feel free to contact me. I’d love to work on a custom project for you ?
